I am a baker now!!

Hahaha Ya freakin right!!! I am no where near a baker! But I can tell you who is.........

Yup!!! This is Jordan Kendrick and she is my lil bestie!!!! And this girl knows how to bake. She baked my soccer cake...

She is such a talented little girl and I am so proud of her!!! Not to mention that the cakes taste delicious! I totally think that she needs to go on a baking show on the food network or even go work for Jake's mom at her bakery!! Perfectionist!!! Anyway, I just wanted to share with everyone my talented little friend!! Loves ya Jord!!

Bruno B. Lowry

Bruno B. Lowry was born in June 1998, and came to our house in July. Bruno has been THE BEST dog anyone could ever ask for. With his loving and gentle personality, Bruno won over anyone who he saw:) With his loud and booming bark when someone rang the doorbell, you would think Bruno was the scariest dog you have ever seen or heard! But with one sniff of the pant leg, Bruno seemed to always just lay down for a belly rub. He would never harm a fly. He was my running partner, and always there to watch me play soccer. Bruno is part of our family, and I am sure many people already know that! We have been so blessed to have such a wonderful dog. He was my PUPPY!!! And anyone who knows me, I made that known with high pitched yelp..."Puuuuppppyyyyy!!" As he aged, he may have shown his age on the outside, but in his heart he was still a loving puppy! Bruno will be greatly missed in our family, and it is still really hard to come home and not hear the jingle of his collar, his bark at the door, and his anxious happy dance when I come home from school or just running errands! Bruno Lowry, I love you! We will see you again soon!!! Love you Bubbuh!!

Can you think of anything better than being with your family for the holiday season? I say NOT!! Family is so important to me and I am so grateful that I have such a wonderful family. These past few weeks have been so great! We had the opportunity to have family over for Alex's Homecoming. It was so great to be able to be with family and it was really special for Alex who had not seen his uncles, aunts, cousins and Grandma in two years!

Then we had the opportunity to spend Thanksgiving in Indiana this year! It had been 10 years since we had seen members of my mom's side of the family! Now that is way too long!!! Everyone was so grown up and it was just so great to rekindle our love for one another. I have the most amazing family who love and care for one another!! I am grateful for every single one of them! A Sleepless Weekend!

This passed week was sooo incredible! I have some of the most amazing people in my life!!! I want to thank everyone for such a wonderful birthday and a great weekend! This birthday was such a great one! First, it is the last one without Jake here!! Yay!! Second, I got to spend it with all of my great friends! The day started off with getting a great package from my amazing missionary:) He sent me a picture and a customized hat!!! It was pretty funny when I opened it! I was all excited and had my roommate Felica start taking pictures of me wearing my new hat! As I turned away, she said "Oh my gosh!! Alyssa, it says Alyssa Poulson on the the back!" I took off my hat and low and behold, it said Alyssa Poulson! It was sooo great and I am so lucky to have such a wonderful and caring man in my life! Then at about 11:00am there was a knock on our door. I looked out the peeping hole, and saw a delivery man standing there with a bouquet of Gerber Daisies!! Jake had done it again, and sent me flowers! :) The day continued like

normal...school and work. We had a basketball scrimmage that night, so I was out late working. When I got home, to my surprise, all of my friends jumped out of hiding spots! It was awesome! Oh and I can't forget the traditional New York Cheesecake delivery!!! I had such a great birthday and its all thanks to my friends, family, and boyfriend!

The week continued with some really great fun! There are some fun Halloween parties that go on in Logan for Halloween weekend. This year me and my friends decided to go to the Hamilton's party. It was so much fun! We danced and danced and danced the night away! And anyone who knows me, knows that I LOVE to dance. This year, I decided to dress up like the New Boyz. They are a rap group who sings the famous song "Jerk." Needless to say, I was in my element with all my swag:) We had a great group and a long night! But it was all worth it! The time is starting to fly by and I can't believe that it is almost Thanksgiving already!!! Much love yall! Peace and Blessings!

He is Back!!

He is finally back!!!! We are so happy that our Lil' Man is home:) Alex had such a great experience serving the wonderful people in Virginia! I want him to take a few minutes and express his feelings of his mission! :

On the assignment that the Lord had called me to the Virginia Richmond Mission, I have been in the lowest lows and on the highest highs. But, never have I felt the Love of God for His children than I have when I was serving them full time in Virginia. I've discovered the majesty of the Son of God through the Book of Mormon and know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God to us and to the ancient inhabitants of the Americas. I've discovered that OBEDIENCE BRINGS BLESSINGS!! Don't ever Justify or risk your moral character and spiritual character for a small mortal finite piece of "entertainment" that will not travel with you to the eternal worlds. I love Jesus Christ. He is our Savior and Redeemer and I know that He was resurrected so that we too shall live. For all those who are not serving a mission, back from a mission, or preparing. READ PREACH MY GOSPEL. Apply its teachings and watch the tree bear fruit. It is the guideline to a blessed life and a great way to learn how to become a better member of the Lord's church. I know this for myself. I love you all. For you are all my brothers and sisters. Thanks for all your prayers on the missionaries behalf!

Well it is official!!! I am gonna have a new SISTA!! Adam proposed to Carli on September 13th 2010! He was so clever and totally surprised her! Her parents were even in on it!! ( that is how we have the great pics seconds after ward!) Carli love ya lots! And I hope you are ready to join our crazy family! :)

Time to Say Good-bye

Man oh man.....where do I begin. 3 years ago, I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I decided to be apart of the vitaminwater sampling team. Let alone did I ever think I would come away with some very best friends!!

These last few years have been a hoot! Sore, tired, dancing wars, hitting birds, road trips, sandbags, tempers, sugarland, grilled peanut butter sandwhiches, quan, freezing toes, Aspen Domination, Greer, MOLE, etc. are just a few discriptive words of the last 3 years with vitaminwater and POWERADE. I feel totally blessed that I was able to learn and grow from this experience. I am thankful for the friends that I have made. I know we will always remain close! I am sad that this has to end, but the next chapter of my crazy life is about to begin! Utah State here I come!.....again!!
