The Best Day of my Life

Ok I am so sorry for the delay!!! I had been so busy with school and making sure everything was in order for our big day:) But now I can relax!!! I am going to let most of the pictures do the talking! Our special day was absolutely the best! I can honestly say that I have the most amazing family and friends who all made this day become the best day of my life! I am most grateful for the opportunity to get married in the sacred Draper Temple and sealed to my husband for all time and eternity! I love Jake and I am sooo happy! Thank you to everyone for making our day so special!

The Love of my Life!

I know I have been horrible at blogging lately!!! I don't know what my deal is :)

Well, let's see.....at the end of August Jake finally moved to Logan! Together at last!!! Soon after, school started. STRESSFUL!!! I never thought school could be this hard! But I am getting through it all. Slow and steady. Jake has been working so hard! He works two jobs right now and will be going back to school for the Spring semester.

On September 17th, 2011 my life changed forever! Jake and I were up in Boise, Idaho for the weekend spending some time with his family. He casually asked me if I would want to go watch the sun set:) Little did I know, he was scheming up a lil' sum' m' sumthin! We went up in the foothills of Boise and started having a photo shoot! I was shooting my honey left and right, and the next thing I know is he is down on one knee asking me to marry him!!!! I was in shock! I had to ask him later if I said yes! I SAID YES!! Jake and I will be sealed in the Draper Temple on December 3, 2011. I am so excited to start the next part of my life! And what a better way to do that with my best friend! I have waited 3 years for Jake and now finally he will be all mine! I love you babe!! You are my life!!!

Welcome Home

I know it has been so long since my last post! And let me just tell ya that a lot has happened! Jake is finally home! It feels like he never left! I am so filled with love, joy and happiness. Jake is my best friend and the love of my life! He has such a strong spirit about him and a sparkle in his eye! He has grown in so many ways that I wish I could list them all! I am so proud of him and his desire to grow closer to his Heavenly Father. On July 24th he gave his homecoming talk where he testified of his love for his Father in Heaven and the gospel of our church. He is strong worthy Priesthood holder and a man with a divine testimony. I am so in love with him!!

I want to thank all of you have supported me during this long journey! It is finally time to start our next journey together finally! I appreciate everyone!!! Jake, I love you for ever and ever babe!

Back to Powell

I Love LAKE POWELL!! This is my favorite place. I honestly could live on the boat for weeks and weeks! I am away from all the noise of life. I have no care in the world when I am at Lake Powell. And...I am with friends and family!

Every summer my best friend Sydney Anderson and her family go to Lake Powell for a week and invite me to come along. It had been a couple years since Syd and I were able to come with school and volleyball. But this year we both were home and could go. Oh Lake Powell how I have missed you!!! We spent everyday in the warm sun swimming, wake boarding, surfing, cliff jumping, etc! PURE BLISS! It was heaven! Thank you to the Anderson family for letting me come! I love you all, and most of all, I love you Lake Powell!

Logan Loves!

Logan is seriously the prettiest place!!! I can't express it enough....I just love love LOVE living here. Although the weather has not been so good this summer so far, everything is so green and beautiful! Last week, my friends and I decided we would hike up to the wind caves one evening. I never realized how much I like to hike! I caught myself wanting to just run up the mountain! It was so beautiful and so peaceful. I truly love living here and I hope to come back and raise a family here!
